Job Summary
Supervise, coach, and support Security Officers and Shift Leads while overseeing daily security operations, site patrols, and incident response at Tippecanoe Mall. Manage performance, ensure proper scheduling and coverage, and complete accurate reports and logs. Monitor security systems including CCTV and alarms, coordinate with local authorities for emergencies, and maintain relationships with mall management and law enforcement. Respond to alarms and incidents while enforcing safety protocols and emergency procedures. Work full-time Sunday through Saturday with rotating shifts starting at $20.00/hour.
Required Qualifications
- Prior security experience with supervisory or leadership responsibilities
- Knowledge of security operations, procedures, and safety practices
- Ability to obtain and maintain required security licenses/certifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (report writing required)
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Strong customer service mindset
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and prioritize effectively
- Comfortable using security systems and standard office equipment
- Reliable, adaptable, and detail-oriented
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work across diverse groups
