Job Summary
Supervise, coach, and support Security Officers and Shift Leads while overseeing daily security operations, conducting site patrols, and responding to incidents. Manage performance, ensure proper scheduling and timekeeping, and assist with hiring, training, and staff development. Monitor security systems including CCTV and alarms, maintain equipment, and enforce safety protocols. Build relationships with mall management, tenants, and local authorities while ensuring compliance with post orders and company policies. Complete reports, logs, and documentation accurately. Lead on-site security at Tippecanoe Mall in Lafayette, IN, with a starting pay of $20.00/hour.
Required Qualifications
- Prior security experience with supervisory or leadership responsibilities
- Knowledge of security operations, procedures, and safety practices
- Ability to obtain and maintain required security licenses/certifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (report writing required)
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Strong customer service mindset
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and prioritize effectively
- Comfortable using security systems and standard office equipment
- Reliable, adaptable, and detail-oriented
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work across diverse groups
- Sunday: 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- Monday-Tuesday: 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM
- Friday-Saturday: 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM
