Job Summary
Security Staff I at the Hillsboro campus performs foot patrols, monitors CCTV, controls visitor and employee building access, and responds to incidents and emergencies. Responsibilities include documenting incidents, participating in staff meetings, providing patrols and safety checks, maintaining security certifications and fitness, and upholding ACC security policies and de-escalation procedures while working as part of the Athey Creek team.
Required Qualifications
- Maintain DPSST Unarmed and Armed Security Professional Certification for the duration of employment
- Maintain ACC Armed status
- Pass and maintain an ACC Security Fitness Test
- Ability to patrol the property and access areas quickly
- Detain any violators
- Follow all security policies, including standards for use of force, de-escalation, and reporting incidents promptly
