Job Summary
Manage and implement alarm and access control systems to prevent unauthorized access and respond effectively to potential security breaches. Oversee and mentor junior security personnel, ensuring all security protocols and procedures are adhered to with diligence within the Department of DoD or Intelligence Community. Demonstrate proficiency in Physical Security and Information Security to safeguard personnel, facilities, and sensitive information against emerging threats. Requires Top Secret w/ SCI clearance, a Bachelor's degree, and four years of relevant experience. Salary range $90K-$115k.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum Top Secret w/ SCI security clearance or higher
- A Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, business, or technical discipline
- Four (4) years of experience in Physical Security (PHYSEC) and Information Security (INFOSEC) in the DoD or IC
- Experience with alarm and access control systems
Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in Physical Security (PHYSEC) and Information Security (INFOSEC) within the Department of Defense (DoD) or the Intelligence Community (IC), showcasing a strong understanding of the intricate interplay between safeguarding personnel, facilities, and sensitive information in a highly regulated environment
- Experience in overseeing and mentoring junior security personnel, providing guidance and support in their professional development, fostering a collaborative team atmosphere, and ensuring that all security protocols and procedures are adhered to with the utmost diligence
- If a proposed individual does not meet both the desired education and experience qualifications, eight (8) years of professional technical activities related to security
- Four (4) of these eight (8) years should demonstrate experience in Physical Security (PHYSEC) and Information Security (INFOSEC) in the DoD or IC
