Job Summary
Own first-line triage for client security questions, resolving routine matters independently while looping in the Security Manager only when escalation is warranted. Deliver onboarding briefings to new clients, verifying clearance eligibility and provisioning badges for partners and visitors. Process DD254s to enforce client-specific requirements, lead incident response actions, and serve as the site's Primary COMSEC Custodian for cryptographic inventories and keying. Conduct walkthroughs of secure construction sites, inspect rooms before and after client use, and act as a first responder to after-hours alarm activations. Train and mentor Level 1 and Level 2 Security Specialists, providing informal coverage when the Security Manager is unavailable. Work cross-functionally with IT, Cyber, and Product teams to maintain site readiness.
Required Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in security, military, law enforcement, or a related operational field
- Demonstrated working knowledge of the doctrine governing Collateral areas, SCIFs, and SAPFs
- Comfortable working onsite daily
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance as a condition of employment
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States
- All candidates must be eligible for and committed to obtaining and maintaining a U.S. government security clearance as a condition of employment
- Strong communication skills
- Administrative rigor and attention to detail
Desired Qualifications
- Recent experience working in classified environments
- Familiarity with secure construction projects and site walkthroughs
- Direct experience serving as a primary or alternate COMSEC Custodian
- An active security clearance
