Job Summary
The Security Specialist II - Risk Assessment Specialist will manage the Position Description database for FCC positions and complete Risk Designation assessments for employees and contractors. Responsibilities include compiling and maintaining personnel management case system data, handling security investigation inquiries, issuing FCC credentials, and processing classified documents. Candidates should have a minimum of four years in personnel security, proficiency in MS Word and Excel, strong communication skills, and excellent customer service capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience in the area of personnel security
- Demonstrated and working knowledge of current Risk Designation and Position Sensitivity Classification
- Proficient in the MS suite of office automation software (Word and Excel)
- Possess interpersonal communications skills
- Possess excellent customer service capabilities
- Ability to perform general administrative management tasks as needed
Additional Requirements
- Security Clearance Required: Top Secret
- Must be able to successfully pass a background check, and pre-employment drug testing
