Security Specialist (Grave Shift)

Job Summary
Patrol Scentsy facilities on foot, in a vehicle, and via camera while managing parking lot security for employees and guests. Handle activation and deactivation of access badges, investigate accidents and security incidents, and deliver mail to various locations. Assist the Facilities team with maintenance, janitorial tasks, snow removal, and trash compaction, including caring for security dogs. Occasionally oversee campus events and administer first aid, CPR, and AED as needed. This full-time grave shift position runs from 4:00 pm to 4:00 am Thursday through Saturday and every other Wednesday, with a shift differential attached. Requires a high school diploma, valid driver's license, and willingness to work 40+ hours per week with regular overtime.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record
- CPR Certification (or ability to obtain)
- Ability to accurately enter data into computer programs including the badging system
- Ability to physically restrain a violent subject if needed
- Sit, stand, bend, lift up to 50 lbs and walk for extended periods of time—running may be occasionally required
- Ability to maintain confidential information
- Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people while maintaining a professional demeanor
- Ability to use power tools and hand tools
- Ability to work 40+ hours per week. Overtime will be regular and frequent
- Ability to stay calm and think clearly in stressful situations
Desired Qualifications
- Some security or closely related experience preferred
