Security Specialist – Digital Fraud

Job Summary
Explore and interpret transactional and behavioral data to identify fraud patterns, anomalies, and emerging risks. Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Splunk, Azure Data Explorer, and Databricks to monitor fraud trends and key performance indicators. Investigate and respond to digital fraud threats, including credential stuffing, account takeover, and marketplace abuse. Design and deploy detection rules, alerts, and use cases within fraud monitoring platforms. Partner with Data, Engineering, and Product teams to improve fraud detection systems, risk engines, and workflows. Perform root cause analysis on fraud incidents and contribute to long-term prevention strategies. Submit your CV and examples of projects, dashboards, or investigations.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in digital fraud, threat hunting, or fraud risk management
- Hands-on experience with fraud detection systems, risk engines, or security information and event management platforms
- Strong working knowledge of SQL and Python for data analysis, automation, and investigations
- Experience working with large-scale datasets and turning analysis into actionable insights
- Experience developing detection logic, scoring approaches, or model-driven rules
- Solid understanding of common fraud and abuse patterns, such as account takeover and automated attacks
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to explain complex findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
