Job Summary
Monitor global security situations and proactively assess threats to client personnel and assets using open-source intelligence and tracking platforms. Compile travel risk assessments, brief clients on current threats, and provide immediate advice during live security incidents, evacuations, and special risks calls. Coordinate emergency response operations, confirm welfare status, and produce situation reports to maintain client awareness. Work a nine-hour, rotating shift pattern to support continuous 24/7/365 operations within the Global Operations Centre, collaborating with international teams to deliver real-time solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Direct experience in emergency or crisis response, the military, an operations centre, or another high-tempo environment requiring effective communication skills
- Effective presentation, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to brief personnel in distress, internal and external stakeholders, and senior business leaders
- A reliable team player who can take on additional responsibilities calmly and professionally
- The ability to work with minimal supervision and remain self-motivated
- A resilient, solutions-oriented approach to complex challenges
- Sound judgement and strong critical-thinking skills
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills, with close attention to detail
- The ability to research, understand, and evaluate information from a wide range of sources and subject areas
- The ability to assess situations quickly, make decisions based on clear and defensible reasoning, and take responsibility for the outcome
- Strong time-management skills, with the ability to coordinate and prioritise competing tasks and deadlines in a fast-moving environment
- The ability to manage stressful situations and adapt to rapidly changing operational requirements
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the aptitude to learn new applications and systems
- Strong worldwide geographical knowledge and an active interest in current affairs
- A higher education qualification in a related field
