Job Summary

Coordinate with Legislative Branch Organizations on security matters and develop written procedures compliant with established policies. Draft, review, and revise general security policies, including SCIF security protocols, while providing routine management for classified information programs. Conduct security briefings and training sessions covering OPSEC and general awareness, then participate in audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions. Assist in incident response and reporting by investigating security breaches, and offer guidance to staff on security-related matters. Stay updated on regulatory changes to advise the organization accordingly. This role supports the Architect of the Capitol's preservation of the U.S. Capitol and legislative branch facilities.

Required Qualifications

  • Active, fully-adjudicated TOP SECRET security clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Twelve (12) years of relevant multi-disciplined security experience
  • Demonstrated ability working in a high-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities and the ability to adapt and manage the new priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks with frequent interruptions and multiple priorities
  • Demonstrated ability developing and conducting security training
  • Strong oral and written communications skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact; able to adapt style and tone to effectively engage the audience
  • Demonstrated ability to write and edit clear, concise, and grammatically correct documents (e.g., reports, special studies, policy, and procedures)
  • Ability to discuss technical issues with non-technical, executive-level government officials
