Job Summary
Security Solution Architect role in a federal cybersecurity environment responsible for interpreting federal cybersecurity laws, policies, directives, executive orders, standards, and related requirements, and translating them into practical compliant technical solutions. Design and implement secure solutions that align with documented federal security requirements, translate complex policy and technical requirements for technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, collaborate with internal/external stakeholders to meet timelines, support security architecture activities across design, evaluation, planning, testing, and operations, and optimize solutions to remain secure, efficient, and cost-effective. Requires U.S. citizenship, active TS clearance with SCI access and CI polygraph, BS degree in CS or related field, 8+ years in security architecture, and strong communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Active Top Secret clearance at the time of application
- Willing and able to obtain SCI access and pass a CI polygraph
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in security architecture or a related field
- Strong ability to read, understand, and interpret federal government policy, law, directives, standards, and executive orders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical information for non-technical audiences
- Strong problem-solving skills and innovative thinking for solution design
- Experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders and improving secure technical solutions
- Substitutions: In lieu of a degree, additional years of relevant experience may be considered
- In lieu of some experience requirements, industry-recognized certifications may be considered, including: CISSP, CISSP-ISSAP, CISM, CISA, CASP+ / SecurityX, CCDA, CCNP, TOGAF
