Job Summary
Oversee on-site security operations by managing staffing, scheduling, and training for assigned personnel while ensuring contract compliance and quality service. Maintain minimal overtime levels, conduct regular performance inspections, and handle incident reports, payroll, and post order preparations. Respond to client requests, make emergency notifications per site protocols, and provide direction to subordinates regarding duty performance. Evaluate situations to mediate conflicts, compile data, and recommend disciplinary actions or commendations for security staff. Submit productivity and cost reduction recommendations to management alongside proposals for physical security surveys.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing
- Must be able to pass a state licensing test if driving a company-owned or client-provided vehicle
- Must possess one or more of the following: Service in the active-duty military, military reserves, or National Guard
- Must possess one or more of the following: Service in Auxiliary Police or Police Cadets
- Minimum of one year verifiable and successful supervisory experience in security-related industry
- Associate's degree or higher in any discipline
- Be at least 18 years of age, or higher if required by the state (21 years, if armed)
- Be able to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
