Job Summary

Oversee all aspects of on-site security operations, including staffing, scheduling, and training for assigned personnel. Ensure contract compliance by verifying required training and screening, while maintaining overtime levels within preset requirements. Conduct regular inspections of security staff performance and respond to client requests or emergency notifications per site Post Orders. Direct subordinates on duty performance, make disciplinary or commendation decisions, and compile incident reports and security surveys. Submit recommendations for positive or negative personnel actions, productivity improvements, and cost reduction strategies to management.

Required Qualifications

  • Must have at least 1 year of security experience
  • Must have security supervisor experience
  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing
  • Must be able to pass a state licensing test if driving a company-owned or client-provided vehicle
  • Must possess one or more of the following: Service in the active-duty military, military reserves, or National Guard
  • Must possess one or more of the following: Service in Auxiliary Police or Police Cadets
  • Minimum of one year verifiable and successful supervisory experience in security-related industry
  • Associate's degree or higher in any discipline
  • Be at least 18 years of age, or higher if required by the state (21 years, if armed)
  • Must be able to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
