Job Summary
Oversee all aspects of on-site security operations, including staffing, scheduling, and training for assigned personnel. Ensure contract compliance by regularly inspecting job performance, maintaining minimal overtime, and responding to client requests. Make recommendations for personnel actions, physical security surveys, and cost reduction strategies while managing incident reports and post orders. Provide direction to subordinates and mediate conflicts with tact. Maintain quality of service through diligent supervision and adherence to site Post Orders.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of security experience
- high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing
- Must be able to pass a state licensing test if driving a company-owned or client-provided vehicle
- Service in the active-duty military, military reserves, or National Guard
- Service in Auxiliary Police or Police Cadets
- Minimum of one year verifiable and successful supervisory experience in security-related industry
- Associate's degree or higher in any discipline
- Be at least 18 years of age, or higher if required by the state (21 years, if armed)
- Be able to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
- Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public
