Job Summary
Oversee all aspects of on-site security operations, including staffing, scheduling, and training for assigned personnel. Ensure contract-required training and screening are met while maintaining overtime within preset requirements. Regularly inspect security performance to ensure quality of service and contract compliance. Respond to client requests, make emergency notifications per site Post Orders, and provide direction to subordinates. Make recommendations for personnel actions, disciplinary decisions, productivity improvements, and physical security surveys. Compile incident reports, review post orders, and conduct security surveys. Maintain a valid driver's license and pass state licensing tests if operating company vehicles.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of security experience
- valid driver's license with at least one year of driving history
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing
- ability to pass a state licensing test if driving a company-owned or client-provided vehicle
- Service in the active-duty military, military reserves, or National Guard
- Service in Auxiliary Police or Police Cadets
- Minimum of one year verifiable and successful supervisory experience in security-related industry
- Associate's degree or higher in any discipline
- at least 18 years of age, or higher if required by the state (21 years, if armed)
