Job Summary
Oversee daily site security operations, including staffing, scheduling, and on-site training for assigned personnel. Ensure compliance with contract specifications, protocols, and required training while maintaining minimal overtime. Conduct regular inspections of security performance, review incident reports, and prepare security surveys and post orders. Respond to client requests, make emergency notifications per site Post Orders, and direct subordinates on duty performance. Evaluate personnel for disciplinary action or commendation, and recommend productivity and cost reduction strategies to management. Maintain a safe environment through active monitoring of site activities and coordination of uniformed services.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing
- Must be able to pass a state licensing test if driving a company-owned or client-provided vehicle
- Must possess one or more of the following: Service in the active-duty military, military reserves, or National Guard
- Must possess one or more of the following: Service in Auxiliary Police or Police Cadets
- Minimum of one year verifiable and successful supervisory experience in security-related industry
- Associate's degree or higher in any discipline
- Be at least 18 years of age, or higher if required by the state (21 years, if armed)
- Be able to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
