Job Summary
Supervise and coordinate quality security service delivery to assigned customers while acting as the liaison between clients, operation managers, and security officers. Direct site staff through coaching, recognition, and discipline within approved empowerment ranges, and manage staffing needs by communicating with operation managers to identify and interview candidates. Handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently, utilize scheduling and billing software for reporting, and ensure officers receive appropriate technical and professional training. Perform duties in various weather conditions, occasionally lifting up to 40 pounds and climbing stairs.
Required Qualifications
- At least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Indiana Concealed Carry Permit
- At least 1+ years of armed security experience
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner
- Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites
- Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently
- Capability to utilize scheduling and billing software to produce reports that require interpretation and action for effective business management
- Ability to communicate staffing needs to Operation Manager which may include using the Requisition process, assisting in identifying and interviewing quality candidates
- Ability to assure officers receive appropriate training, developing them in both technical and professional skills
- Ability to assure employee grievances are heard with help from appropriate branch or region HR support employees
- Ability to work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat
- Ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds
- Ability to climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift
- Ability to stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time
- Successful completion of a background investigation
- Successful completion of a drug screen
