Job Summary
Supervise security and fire personnel at assigned site(s), ensuring compliance with client requirements, site-specific SOPs, and Inter-Con policies. Evaluate risks, develop staffing schedules, and coordinate with regional leadership to maintain operational progress. Respond to site and fire emergencies, directing security operations and assisting in controlling incipient-stage fires. Conduct quarterly and annual reviews, vulnerability assessments, and audits to verify billing and compliance. Interface with client management to identify concerns, implement corrective actions, and track loss prevention initiatives. Mentor supervisors and officers while ensuring personnel are properly trained, qualified, and maintained in current certifications. Maintain accurate records, communicate with emergency responders, and recommend workflow improvements to enhance operational efficiencies.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two (2) years of progressively responsible security, public safety, military, law enforcement, fire service, or related experience
- Demonstrated understanding of security operations and supervisory practices
- Ability to solve practical problems and carry out responsibilities under general supervision
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage workload effectively
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex information, develop sound conclusions, and implement practical solutions
- Demonstrated planning, organizational, and project management skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong leadership and supervisory abilities with the confidence to make decisions and provide direction
- Ability to act decisively during emergency situations
- Ability to physically respond to medical and emergency incidents
- Ability to support and facilitate organizational change
- Ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels and across diverse backgrounds and cultures
- Ability to work effectively as a team member and leader
- Strong interpersonal, diplomatic, and conflict-resolution skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment
- Working knowledge of access control, security technology, safety systems, and related equipment
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
- Maintains current First Aid and CPR certifications
- Ensures the hot work permit process is properly administered and documented
