Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day supervision of security and fire personnel at assigned site(s) and may travel between locations; mentor security supervisors/officers; ensure compliance with client requirements, SOPs, and regulations; assess risks, ensure adequate staffing, and maintain post orders; advise management during emergencies; research and implement process improvements; coordinate with client management to address concerns, provide recommendations, and implement corrective actions; support theft/loss prevention; participate in personnel onboarding, development, and retention; provide emergency response guidance; ensure trained and qualified personnel; develop staffing schedules; coordinate with security leadership; conduct quarterly/annual reviews; perform site vulnerability assessments; ensure accurate billing/auditing; maintain records; maintain confidentiality; respond to site emergencies and fire incidents; ensure incidents are reported and corrective actions tracked; maintain First Aid/CPR certifications; oversee hot work permit processes; may supervise fire protection tasks; report to site leadership and management; drive improvements to workflows and costs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of two (2) years of progressively responsible security, public safety, military, law enforcement, fire service, or related experience; five (5) years preferred
- Demonstrated understanding of security operations and supervisory practices
- Ability to solve practical problems and carry out responsibilities under general supervision
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage workload effectively
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex information, develop sound conclusions, and implement practical solutions
- Demonstrated planning, organizational, and project management skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong leadership and supervisory abilities with the confidence to make decisions and provide direction
- Ability to act decisively during emergency situations
- Ability to physically respond to medical and emergency incidents
- Ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels and across diverse backgrounds and cultures
- Ability to work effectively as a team member and leader
- Strong interpersonal, diplomatic, and conflict-resolution skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment
- Working knowledge of access control, security technology, safety systems, and related equipment
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are beneficial but not required
