Job Summary
Supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality security services on a specific shift at an assigned customer, acting as a liaison between site supervisors, account managers, and professional security officers. Supervise staff on assigned shifts by providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within approved empowerment ranges. Handle both common and crisis situations at the client site calmly and efficiently while preparing written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting. Shifts include afternoon and overnight rotations available Monday through Sunday. The role requires a valid CA Guard Card, current training certificates, a high school diploma or five years of experience, and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Required Qualifications
- Valid and current CA. Guard Card & training certificates
- At least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years verifiable experience
- Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner
- Ability to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines
- Ability to frequently prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting
- Ability to read and understand all operating procedures and instructions
- Valid Driver's License with at least one year of driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations within last 36 months, no more than one accident in last 24 months, no more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months)
- Minimum level of insurance as required by Company policy
- Ability to safely operate a vehicle required
- Ability to successfully complete a background investigation
- Ability to successfully complete a post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test
- Ability to pass Drivers Record check
- Intermediate computer skills to utilize innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites
- Ability to handle both common and crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
