Job Summary
Supervise and coordinate quality security services on a specific shift, acting as a liaison between site supervisors, account managers, and professional security officers. Supervise staff by providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within approved empowerment ranges while handling both common and crisis situations calmly and efficiently. Prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting and utilize wireless technology at client-specific sites. Maintain effective communication with all personnel and the general public, using initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines. Requires a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to safely operate a vehicle. Full-time Monday through Friday shift from midnight to 8am.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License
- At least 18 years of age
- 1+ years Security experience
- Supervisory experience
- High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years verifiable experience
- Effective written and oral communication
- Interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner
- Ability to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines
- Ability to frequently prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting
- Ability to read and understand all operating procedures and instructions
- Valid Driver's License with at least one year of driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations within last 36 months, no more than 1 accident in last 24 months, no more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months)
- Minimum level of insurance as required by Company policy
- Ability to safely operate a vehicle required
- Ability to successfully complete a background investigation
- Ability to successfully complete a post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test
- Ability to pass Drivers Record check
- Intermediate computer skills to utilize innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites
- Ability to handle both common and crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
