Job Summary
Supervise and direct security personnel during assigned shifts while conducting regular patrols and monitoring surveillance systems to prevent security breaches. Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and security threats, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Train and mentor security officers, coordinate with law enforcement when required, and maintain accurate reports of shift activities. Perform security inspections and provide recommendations for improvement. This role requires a clean driving record, military, law enforcement, or corrections background, and at least five years of security experience. Candidates must possess leadership experience and proficiency with Genetec security software. Required Qualifications
- Must have a clean driving record
- Have either military, law enforcement, or corrections background
- At least 1 year security experience
- Highschool diploma or equivalent
- Five (5) years of security experience
- Leadership experience in a security or supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of security protocols and emergency response procedures
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly and effectively
- Proficient with Genetec security software administration
- Valid Virginia driver's license
- Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) Private Security Certification
- Willingness to be trained in the use of pepper spray, tasers, and handcuffs through a certified training program
- CPR/AED/First Aid certification
- Willingness to complete a training program with a certified instructor
- Current Driving Record with no more than 3 tickets
