Job Summary
Administer and coordinate all security activity for an assigned shift, ensuring compliance with company policies, internal controls, and regulations from the Sac & Fox Gaming Commission and National Indian Gaming Commission. Direct employees and officers to perform duties properly, establish teamwork, and monitor the casino environment while safeguarding owner assets. Prepare and approve daily shift reports, maintain attendance calendars, and manage performance evaluations. Exercise supervisory authority over officers, EMTs, and assistants, including hiring, training, and disciplinary actions, while utilizing signatory authority for jackpot payouts and controlled keys logs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- One (1) year of security or related experience
- Six (6) months of supervisory experience
- Knowledge of gaming policies and procedures
- Good understanding of casino operations
- Ability to obtain a gaming license in accordance to the regulations established by the Sac & Fox Gaming Commission
- No criminal history that includes a serious misdemeanor or above for such crimes as theft or any crimes which constitute moral depravity or moral corruption
- No history of multiple simple misdemeanor crimes which show the pattern of a habitual violator
- Ability to pass a basic math test of 11 word problems missing no more than 4 problems
- Ability to work directly with the general public
- Ability to see details at close range and from a distance
