Job Summary
Supervise and coordinate quality security services on a specific shift at an assigned Food Market in Manhattan, acting as a liaison between site leadership and security officers. Manage staff on duty by providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within approved empowerment ranges while preparing written reports and logs. Handle both common and crisis situations calmly and efficiently, utilizing initiative and independent judgment to deal with all personnel and the public. Maintain a valid driver's license with a clean record to safely operate a vehicle as required for site access. Work flexible shifts from 3pm to 11pm, Friday through Sunday, in various weather conditions while standing or walking for long periods.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 18 years of age
- Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner
- Ability to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines
- Ability to frequently prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting
- Ability to read and understand all operating procedures and instructions
- Valid Driver's License
- At least one year of driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations within last 36 months, no more than one accident in last 24 months, no more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months)
- Minimum level of insurance as required by Company policy
- Ability to safely operate a vehicle
- Ability to successfully complete a background investigation
- Ability to successfully complete a post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test
- Ability to pass Drivers Record check
- Intermediate computer skills
- Ability to handle both common and crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently

- Ability to work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat
- Ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds
- Ability to climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift

- Must be available for Friday – Sunday shifts
