Job Summary
Supervise and coordinate quality security services on a specific shift at a Manhattan Food Market, acting as a liaison between site supervisors, account managers, and professional security officers. Direct staff on assigned shifts by providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within approved empowerment ranges. Manage crisis situations calmly and efficiently while preparing written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting. Work flexible Friday through Sunday shifts from 3pm to 11pm. Requires a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to operate a vehicle safely.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 18 years of age
- Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner
- Ability to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines
- Ability to frequently prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting
- Ability to read and understand all operating procedures and instructions
- Valid Driver's License
- At least one year of driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations within last 36 months, no more than one accident in last 24 months, no more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months)
- Minimum level of insurance as required by Company policy
- Ability to safely operate a vehicle
- Ability to successfully complete a background investigation
- Ability to successfully complete a post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test
- Ability to pass Drivers Record check
- Intermediate computer skills
- Ability to handle both common and crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently

- Ability to work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat
- Ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds
- Ability to climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift
- Ability to stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time
- Must be flexible Friday – Sunday
- Work shifts available 3pm - 11pm
