Job Summary
Oversee night shift operations from 0000-0800, managing control room duties including monitoring CCTV, dispatching officers to alarms, and documenting logs. Supervise and coordinate at least three security officers, providing coaching, discipline, and crisis management while acting as a liaison between site supervisors, account managers, and field operations. Ensure secure opening and closing of classified areas and handle medical emergencies or potential incidents calmly and efficiently. Maintain neat written reports and logs, utilizing wireless technology at client sites. Requires a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and effective communication skills to manage various environments.
Required Qualifications
- DoD Security Clearance Secret or Above
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 18 years of age
- Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner
- Ability to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines
- Ability to frequently prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting
- Ability to read and understand all operating procedures and instructions
- Valid Driver's License
- At least one year of driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations within last 36 months, no more than one accident in last 24 months, no more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months)
- Minimum level of insurance as required by Company policy
- Ability to safely operate a vehicle
- Ability to successfully complete a background investigation
- Ability to successfully complete a post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test
- Intermediate computer skills
- Ability to handle both common and crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently
- Ability to work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat
- Ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds
- Ability to climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift
- Ability to stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time
