Job Summary
Supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality security services on a specific shift at an assigned data center customer. Act as the primary liaison between the site supervisor, account manager, and professional security officers while supervising staff, providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range. Manage crisis situations calmly and efficiently, prepare written reports and logs, and utilize wireless technology at client-specific sites. This role requires an active Guard Card License, a valid driver's license with a clean record, and proficiency with technology. The position involves a swing shift from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM Monday through Friday, with potential schedule changes. Required Qualifications
- Must be comfortable with potential schedule changes
- Active Guard Card License (required)
- Proficient with technology
- Valid Driver's License (minimum 1 year, clean record)
- At least 18 years of age
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years verifiable experience
- Must possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner
- Must be able to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines
- Must be able to frequently prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting
- Must be able to read and understand all operating procedures and instructions
- Must possess a valid Driver's License with at least one year of driving experience
- Must possess a clean driving record (no major violations within last 36 months, no more than 1 accident in last 24 months, no more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months)
- Must possess a minimum level of insurance as required by Company policy
- Must be able to safely operate a vehicle required
- Must successfully complete a background investigation
- Must successfully complete a post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test
- Must be able to pass Drivers Record check
- Must have intermediate computer skills to utilize innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites
- Must be able to handle both common and crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently
- Must display exceptional customer service and communication skills
