Job Summary
Oversee staffing, scheduling, and on-site training for security officers assigned to Sunday and Monday 11 PM to 7 AM shifts. Provide direction and instruction to subordinates regarding duty performance, cross-train officers for site efficiency, and ensure contract compliance through regular inspections of personnel and job quality. Make emergency notifications as necessary, review and maintain incident reports, and prepare security surveys and post orders. Generate productivity and cost reduction recommendations to management while maintaining overtime to predefined levels. Ensure all security personnel have met required training and screening elements.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of previous security experience, including supervisory
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current and valid driver's license
- Associate's degree or higher in any discipline
- Service in the active-duty military, military reserves, or National Guard
- Service in auxiliary police or police cadets
- Minimum of one (1) year verifiable and successful security experience
- Minimum of two (2) years of verifiable work experience demonstrating excellent customer service skills
- Minimum of two (2) years of verifiable work experience demonstrating ability to maintain poise and self-control during emergency situations
- Minimum of two (2) years of verifiable work experience demonstrating capability of understanding and applying written and verbal orders, and of composing reports
- Minimum of two (2) years of verifiable work experience demonstrating effective oral and written communication skills
- Minimum of two (2) years of verifiable work experience demonstrating planning and organizing skills
- Minimum of two (2) years of verifiable work experience demonstrating proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications
- Minimum of two (2) years of verifiable work experience demonstrating problem solving skills
- Minimum of two (2) years of verifiable work experience demonstrating coaching, mentoring, motivating skills
- Minimum of two (2) years of verifiable work experience demonstrating active listening skills
