Job Summary
Oversee security operations at individual facilities by supervising, motivating, and training Officers on site. Implement safety protocols while conducting day-to-day security and related public services. Maintain proficiency in firearms and TASER policies through required training and annual qualification standards. Work hours vary based on client schedules and may include weekends, with weeks exceeding 40 hours. This role supports Tarian's mission to provide trusted security services across North America.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or G.E.D
- Previous security experience
- Must be able to obtain and maintain any applicable licenses or certifications
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet Tarian's driving guidelines if applicable
- At least 21 years of age
- Ability to obtain and maintain any applicable local or state license or permit to carry a weapon
- Ability to pass the initial and semi-annual Tarian approved firearms training course to demonstrate proficiency in use of firearm
- Ability to participate and meet the requirements of additional firearms training at the discretion of the firearms instructor
- Ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of Tarian's Firearms policies
- Ability to meet qualification standards when initially placed in a TASER position and annually thereafter
- Ability to obtain and maintain any applicable local or state license or permit to carry a TASER
- Ability to participate in and pass additional TASER training at the discretion of the TASER instructor and/or Tarian
- Ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of Tarian's Conducted Energy Weapon (TASER), Tarian's Taser Policy
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for variable amounts of time throughout an assigned shift
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls
- Ability to reach with hands and arms
