Job Summary
Supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality security services on a specific shift, acting as a liaison between site supervisors, account managers, and professional security officers. Provide coaching, recognition, and discipline within approved empowerment ranges while administering job safety analyses and safety programs for officers. Handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently, communicate staffing needs to management, and ensure officers receive appropriate technical and professional training. Manage inventory for uniforms, equipment, and supplies, and resolve employee grievances with HR support. Requires a background investigation, drug screen, and valid licensing; effective communication skills and ability to work in various weather conditions are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites
- Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently
- Ability to work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat
- Ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds
- Ability to climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift
- Ability to stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time
- Successful completion of a background investigation
- Successful completion of a drug screen
