Job Summary
Supervise and coordinate quality security services on a specific shift, acting as a liaison between site supervisors, account managers, and professional officers. Provide coaching, recognition, and discipline within approved empowerment ranges while managing staffing needs and ensuring officers receive appropriate technical and professional training. Administer Job Safety Analyses and safety programs for site-specific hazards, including vehicle and driving safety. Handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently, assist in managing uniforms, equipment, and vehicle inventories, and ensure employee grievances are addressed with HR and operations support. Work in various environments including cold weather, rain, snow, or heat, occasionally lifting up to 40 pounds and standing for long periods.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites
- Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently
- Ability to work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat
- Ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds
- Ability to climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift
- Ability to stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time
- Successful completion of a background investigation
- Successful completion of a drug screen
