Job Summary
Supervise and coordinate quality security service delivery on a specific shift, acting as the liaison between site staff, account managers, and officers. Provide coaching, recognition, and discipline within approved ranges while administering job safety analyses and safety programs for assigned officers. Manage staffing needs, oversee inventory and equipment maintenance, and handle grievances with HR support. Ensure officers receive appropriate training and respond to crisis situations calmly and efficiently. Requires a valid CA Guard card, armed permit, and BSIS baton certification. Full-time weekend schedule at $30/hour in Los Angeles.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CA Guard card
- Armed permit
- Baton certification through BSIS
- Pepper spray certification
- Handcuff certification
- First aid/CPR certification
- Full time schedule
- Availability for weekends
- Supervisor experience
- At least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites
- Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently
- Ability to work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat
- Ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds
- Ability to climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift
- Ability to stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time
- Successful completion of a background investigation
- Successful completion of a drug screen
