Job Summary
Supervise and coordinate quality security service delivery on specific shifts at the American Airlines hanger, acting as a liaison between site supervisors, account managers, and security officers. Supervise staff on assigned shifts by providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within approved empowerment ranges while handling both common and crisis situations calmly and efficiently. Prepare written reports and logs in neat handwriting and utilize wireless technology at client sites. Work outdoors in various elements including cold weather, rain, snow, or heat, standing and walking for long periods. Coordinate with the site supervisor and field operations manager to ensure service quality.
Required Qualifications
- Must Be 21 Years of Age or Older
- Must have at least 1 year of Security Experience
- Must have Prior Supervisor Experience
- Must have a Valid drivers License and Clean driving history
- Must be able to work outdoors in the elements
- Must be able to stand and walk for Long Periods of time
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner
- Must be able to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines
- Must be able to frequently prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting
- Must be able to read and understand all operating procedures and instructions
- Must possess a valid Driver's License with at least one year of driving experience
- Must possess a clean driving record (no major violations within last 36 months, no more than 1 accident in last 24 months, no more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months)
- Must have a minimum level of insurance as required by Company policy
- Must be able to safely operate a vehicle
- Must successfully complete a background investigation
- Must successfully complete a post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test
- Must be able to pass Drivers Record check
- Must have Intermediate computer skills to utilize innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites
- Must be able to handle both common and crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently

- Must be able to Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat
- Must be able to Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds
