Security Shift Officer

Security Shift Officer responsible for control and monitoring of physical access, operating and overseeing a fully functional Monitoring Centre and CCTV system, managing a card access control system, and conducting thorough patrols (internal, external, perimeter, car park) with swift incident responses. The role includes acting as Chief Fire Marshal at incident points, providing front-of-house support for visitors and VIPs, taking on Reception duties in high-security buildings during out-of-hours or as directed, assisting investigations and maintaining evidence chains, conducting searches (bags, vehicles, transit cases, containers), and providing security support at events. Additional duties include first aid or CPR as needed and extending security presence off-site. Requires SIA Door Supervisor qualification or Close Protection Licence, Full Driving Licence, and Emergency First Aid; the role operates on a 4-on/4-off 12-hour shift pattern (6am–6pm; 4 days on, 4 off, 4 nights) across two UK sites (Malmesbury and Hullavington). Desirable qualifications include HSE qualification, Defibrillation certification, and/or SIA CCTV Licence.
