Security Shift Manager

Job Summary
Oversee daily operations of the Security Department on assigned shift to safeguard Belterra Park assets, guests, and team members. Responsible for training, motivating, evaluating, and supervising security staff; ensuring adherence to arrest and detainment procedures; coordinating with law enforcement; staying current on local laws and regulations; preparing accurate security reports; and maintaining guest service standards. Performs and supports investigations, security planning, incident response, and staff development including CPR/First-Aid and Bomb Search & Recognition training.
Required Qualifications
- CPR and Blood Borne Pathogens Certification, preferred
- Two years progressive experience in security operations; management experience preferred
- Education: high school education or equivalent
- Must successfully pass background check
- Must successfully pass an alcohol and drug screening
- Knowledge of Ohio civil and criminal laws; Ohio Lottery and Gaming Commission regulations; Indiana laws pertaining to citizens’ powers of arrest procedures
- Valid driver’s license, preferred
