Job Summary
Supervise operations at assigned client sites by managing a team of security officers, handling scheduling, payroll, and training. Conduct general patrols, monitor CCTV, and respond to incidents including property emergencies while maintaining access control and visitor management procedures. Reconcile logs, review incident reports, and develop staff technical and professional skills through performance management and coaching. Treat staff with respect to foster a great work environment and provide excellent customer service to all parties encountered. Perform duties in various weather conditions while standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 3 years prior satisfactory employment as a security officer or directly related experience
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Valid Security License if required by state
- Driver's license as applicable
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift, push, and/or pull at least 50 lbs.
- Ability to accommodate foot patrols on the interior & exterior of the assigned facility
- Ability to perform assigned duties regardless of inclement weather
- Ability to maintain a working telephone number
