Job Summary
Security Service Technician at The Tri-M Group, LLC performs preventive maintenance on a variety of security equipment and systems under contract, participates in an emergency on-call rotation, troubleshoots and repairs to restore full operation, and provides customer training and sales support. Duties include communicating with customers, documenting system status, recommending improvements, supplying sales leads, and assisting with contract retention while maintaining safety and quality standards. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, several years of experience with security systems, regional travel, and strong communication and multitasking skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5 years of software programming security systems experience (e.g., Andover Controls, Schneider Electric, Lenel, DSX, Pelco, Bosch, Avigilon, Ademco)
- 2 years of experience installing security systems
- Valid driver’s license
- Computer skills & IT network experience a plus
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Interpersonal skills and customer relationship building
- Ability to travel regionally to jobsites as needed
- Ability to work 40 hours/week with 8-10 hour shifts
- Authorized to work in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization
