Job Summary
Conduct overnight security coverage from 8pm to 4am or 4pm to 12am, performing perimeter checks, monitoring entrances, and maintaining radio contact with the Front Desk. Respond to security alarms, investigate room thefts and assault complaints, and serve as the first responder for incidents while administering First Aid or CPR as needed. Challenge suspicious persons, escort guests, and assist with intoxicated guests or medical emergencies. Maintain daily activity logs, review CCTV footage, and complete incident reports in partnership with hotel leadership. Open secured areas for authorized personnel, check visitor IDs, and conduct safety rounds to check lights, door locks, and property hazards.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Certificate of Completion in Safety and Security Training (valid DPSST certification)
- CPR, First Aid and Heimlich maneuver Certified
Desired Qualifications
- Prior security experience (hotel or a related field preferred)
