Job Summary
Conduct daily venue security and safety operations for Andrew Jackson Hall, James K. Polk Theater, and Andrew Johnson Theater, while providing leadership to security supervisors and staff. Respond to incidents involving medical emergencies, fire alarms, and other security-related events, ensuring compliance with emergency procedures and standards. Investigate security incidents with guests, contractors, and management, maintaining concise documentation and supporting department staffing, training, and scheduling needs. Serves as Manager on duty for assigned events, utilizing CCTV and access control software to monitor safety concerns across all TPAC managed venues.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of security and crowd management experience
- managerial experience
- Comfortable working with individual situations
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and some holidays
- TN unarmed security license
Desired Qualifications
- Previous theater or similar venue, event, and peer security experience
- Familiar with shift coverage, scheduling and 'on the job' training
- knowledge of CCTV and Access Control programs
- CPR/First Aid certified
