Job Summary
Conduct extensive foot patrols across various client-owned buildings in the Denver area, monitoring access for employees, visitors, and contractors while advising and escorting individuals into spaces. Maintain security records and reports during shifts, ensuring property protection, threat mitigation, and order preservation at designated locations. Work 40 hours weekly with flexible scheduling, including day, swing, and grave shifts, and adapt assignments daily based on operational needs. Obtain a Security Guard License and pass required background checks.
Required Qualifications
- 21 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- US citizenship or possess the right to work permit
- Able to pass a drug screen test and background check to include THC
- Fluently speak, read, and write English
- Able to obtain a Security Guard License
- Must be computer literate
- Demonstrates ability to follow site-specific requirements, including adapting to uniform standards based on assigned location
- Well-versed in uniform maintenance and preparation
- Be willing and able to perform extensive foot patrols and stand for extended period of times
- Punctuality
- Must be available to work either shift below at various locations throughout the week
- Must be available to work both shifts (Day 7:00 am - 3:00 pm and Swing 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm)
- Must be available 6 days of the week (Grave 11:00 pm - 7:00 am)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Excellent customer service skills
- Previous security, military, and/or law enforcement experience
- Ability to remain calm and focused
- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
- Flexibility and able to work overtime when needed
