Job Summary
Security Guard/Receptionist in the Youth Services program at Lafayette Gardens Cornerstone Community Center (Brooklyn) responsible for welcoming visitors, controlling access, monitoring security systems, responding to emergencies, and serving as a point of contact for law enforcement. Duties include greeting guests, answering phones, monitoring entry, conducting patrols, reporting incidents, de-escalating disruptive behavior, maintaining workspace, coordinating community relations, and assisting with community events. Requires HS diploma or GED, at least 1 year security/front desk experience, valid security guard license, and preferred CPR/AED/First Aid certification. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5 pm–10 pm during the school year; shifts may vary within program hours.
