Security Project Specialist 3

Install, program, test, repair, and service security, fire alarm, and building automation systems while reading blueprints and interpreting schematics. Commission new systems, write complex programs, and perform certification testing to ensure optimal performance. Act as the key technical interface for customer support and training, managing onsite projects from safety to close-out documentation. Mentor less-experienced staff, supervise subcontractors, and consult with engineering personnel to resolve unusual operational problems. Identify project risks and communicate deviations to control costs and deadlines. This role requires 5+ years of experience in enterprise-level security and life safety systems, including certifications in Genetec, Lenel, Brivo, or Avigilon, plus OSHA 10 or 30. Salary is $38–$45 per hour.
