Job Summary
Manage scheduling, pricing, and technical performance of small-size security projects while tracking finances and controlling project costs. Verify project scope, estimate budgets, identify risks, and resolve solutions to problems keeping physical security as the focal point. Build and coach project teams, lead planning meetings, and provide clear written reports to stakeholders. Offer general guidance and training to improve design, systems, and procedures, promoting continuous improvement activities. This 70% onsite role requires occasional overnight travel and general supervision.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Business, Computer Science, Construction or related field, OR Associates degree with 2 years of related business or technical/project management experience, OR High School Diploma/GED with 4 years' of related business or technical/project management experience
- Minimum of 2 years business experience which includes work in one or more of these areas: project estimating, project controls, construction field experience, and/or comparable external experience
- 70% onsite and 30% in the field
- This is NOT a remote position
- Will also require some overnight travel
- Preferred certification aligned with project management discipline: PMP for traditional waterfall project managers, PSM (Scrum.org) or CSM (ScrumAlliance) for Agile Scrum
