Job Summary
Lead physical security design and system installation for new data centers, expansions, and special projects, overseeing Access Control, Intrusion Detection, and surveillance capabilities. Manage the full project lifecycle including specifications, code compliance, vendor management, budget, and change orders. Execute contract oversight, QA/QC, and support processes while representing the team for acceptance, sign-off, and operational readiness validation. Collaborate across organizations to drive security projects and provide weekly updates to the customer Team Lead. This 24-month contract role requires Top Secret clearance, on-site presence with occasional remote work, and travel within a 50-mile radius.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of project management, construction management, or equivalent military experience
- Familiar with project management, design, and construction software
- Proficient understanding of construction plans, elevations, and other design and construction artifacts for architectural, mechanical, electrical, civil, and telecommunications plans
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn complex systems
- Excellent writing and presentation skills
- Position requires occasional travel to customer facilities within a 50-mile radius of the assigned site
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and periodic random drug screening, as well as a background check
- Security Clearance: US Government issued Top Secret clearance (No polygraph required)
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Construction Management or related field
- 5+ years experience working with physical security design and/or implementation of electronic security systems such as Access Control Systems, Intrusion Detection Systems, and CCTV Surveillance systems. Familiarity with security in-depth strategies
- 2+ years of experience in program or project management, leading both technical and non-technical teams focusing on physical security standards and designs
- Experience with and/or certification with Lenel Access Control Systems
- Training and experience with Axis cameras
- Experience with and/or certification with Milestone VMS
- Training and experience with Traka key management systems
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification
- Experience with Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, and BlueBeam Revu
- Former or transitioning Military Officers (O-3+), Non-Commissioned Officers (E-7+), and Warrant Officers (CW2+) are encouraged to apply
