Security Professional - Pharmaceutical Site Officer

Job Summary
Monitor access control systems and CCTV, conduct regular foot patrols of the facility, and maintain a strong security presence in a high-profile pharmaceutical environment. Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly, communicate professionally with site personnel and management, and complete detailed reports to maintain accurate logs. Ensure smooth shift transitions and perform site inspections to uphold strict security standards. This role requires a valid Ontario Security Guard License, First Aid & CPR certification, and the ability to work rotating continental shifts from 07:00 to 19:00. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada and possess strong communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) or relevant work experience
- 1–2 years of experience in a hospital, corporate office, or similar high-security environment
- Must be eligible to work full-time (40 hours per week) in Canada
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- Must have First Aid & CPR
- Experience with CCTV monitoring and access control systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer use
- Physically able to perform extended foot patrols (indoor and outdoor)
- Capable of standing/walking for long periods, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 15 kg
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Must be able to work rotating continental shifts
- Must be able to respond effectively in dynamic situations
- Must be able to maintain a strong security presence in a high-profile environment
- Must be able to complete detailed reports and maintain accurate logs
