Job Summary
Monitor and patrol assigned areas in a healthcare facility, including buildings, parking lots, and perimeters, while maintaining a visible presence to deter unauthorized activity. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations by applying site-specific policies, documenting details, and communicating with appropriate personnel. Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors through visitor screening, directional support, and emergency response activities. Report hazards, suspicious activity, and policy concerns to site leadership. Work Monday through Saturday shifts, including overnight rotations, and complete the required pre-screen for an on-site interview.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of security-related experience
- Be able to meet hospital vaccine requirements
- Be able to work in a hospital environment that includes morgue access or exposure
- Provide proof of high school diploma or GED
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting
- Must have a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy Requirements
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
