Job Summary
Monitor and patrol assigned areas, including buildings, parking lots, and perimeters, while maintaining a visible presence to deter unauthorized activity and support patients, visitors, and staff. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations by applying site-specific policies, documenting details, and communicating with personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols to identify unusual conditions, assist with visitor screening and directional support, and report hazards or suspicious activity to leadership. Provide customer service and emergency response activities appropriate to the healthcare environment. Work Monday through Sunday in shifts including evenings, nights, and weekends. Complete the HCA Mid-America Division Pre-Screen for interview consideration.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of security-related experience
- Be able to meet hospital vaccine requirements
- Be able to work in a hospital environment that includes morgue access or exposure
- Provide proof of high school diploma or GED
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting
- Must have a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy Requirements
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
