Job Summary
Conduct unarmed foot and/or vehicle patrols inside and outside hospital buildings, parking areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor CCTV and alarm systems, control access and egress points, and observe visitor and staff movement to document security concerns. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations by communicating with onsite personnel and first responders as needed. Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors while carrying out security procedures and emergency response activities. Submit to drug screening and TB testing as required for this safety-sensitive healthcare role in Leawood, KS.
Required Qualifications
- Have at least 1+ years of security-related experience
- Hospital vaccinations are required
- Must be able to work in a hospital morgue environment
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
