Job Summary
Conduct unarmed foot and/or vehicle patrols inside and outside a hospital environment to deter criminal activity and misconduct. Monitor CCTV and alarm systems, control access and egress points, and observe visitor and staff movement to document security concerns. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations by communicating with onsite personnel and first responders as needed. Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors while carrying out security procedures and emergency response activities. Perform regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeters to report unusual conditions. Submit to drug screening and TB testing as required for this safety-sensitive healthcare role.
Required Qualifications
- Have at least 1+ years of security-related experience
- Hospital vaccinations are required
- Must be able to work in a hospital morgue environment
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
- Must be able to submit to drug screening to the extent permissible by law
- Tuberculosis (TB) test and certain vaccinations may be required
