Job Summary
Conduct security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicles while monitoring entrances, exits, and departing personnel for theft prevention. Sound alarms or contact police/fire for emergencies, warn violators of rule infractions, and investigate incidents to prepare required reports and maintain logs. Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous manner and make emergency notifications per site Post Orders. Work irregular shifts with little to no advance notice, including weekends, as a part-time role with weekend availability required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience
- Valid driver's license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle
- Background investigation
- Drug screen
- At least 18 years of age, or higher if required by the state (21 years, if armed)
- Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
- Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
- Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public
- Effective oral and written communication skills; able to write informatively, clearly, and accurately
- Active listening and problem-solving skills
- Assess and evaluate situations effectively; identify critical issues quickly and accurately
- Mediate conflict with tact, diplomacy
- Teamwork

- Ability to speak, read, and write in multiple languages (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese, French, Arabic)
